Site Facilities

Toilet & Shower

Small toilet hut with caravan-style toilet, hot shower and sink, using natural rainwater harvesting. Toilet roll, hand soap and cleaning materials provided.

BBQ & Fire Pit

Double-size brick BBQ and central campfire circle. Perfect for outdoor cooking and evening gatherings under the stars.

Power & Charging

USB charging ports available. Drinking water provided separately. Outdoor washing-up sink for your convenience.

Booking Information

Season

The Riverside Cabin is available for bookings between March and November. Winter visits may be available subject to weather conditions.

Access

Broome Island is only accessible by boat. We offer kayak hire, or you can bring your own narrowboat, kayak or paddleboard. Ample moorings available at our jetty.

Chairs (if desired)
Food and drinks

Charcoal and other camping equipment may be hired, subject to availability.

Parking

There is no vehicle access to the island and no private parking available. Limited street parking is available in the nearby villages of Barrow Upon Soar and Mountsorrel.

Please do not attempt to reach the site on foot, or via your sat nav! There is no parking or access via Barrow Boating or Meadow Farm Marina.
